Mira El Bosque is a specific lot taken from La Esperanza farm located in the Huehutenango region. The coffee trees are a mixture of Bourbon and Caturra shade grown in the mountains under banana, citrus fruit, and other indigenous trees.
All the coffee is hand harvested before being sorted using syphon equipment making sure that only the ripe cherries make it through for further processing. The coffee then goes through a 36 hour fermentation process to remove the fruit before it is sun dried on concrete patios.
The Huehutenango region is one of the most famous coffee growing areas in Guatemala and coffee is the primary export for the area. It's located at around 1500-2000 masl is well know for producing complex coffees with great sweetness and fruit characteristics.
