Look out for… Sweet aromatic apricot, with a zingy key lime pie finish. Really pops as a flat white.

Big Red Seasonal Blend is adjusted with fresh harvest single origin coffees. The blend is currently composed of two different origins, Kochere and Samburu.

We have combined beans that give you lots of fruit and sweet notes. If you are after a coffee that is a bit different from a traditional style espresso then this is the blend for you. Expect a medium body with an intense and aromatic apricot sweetness, reminds us of key lime pie. Sweetens up nicely when milk is added.
The blend is currently composed of 2 origins:

Samburu AA Kenya

Kenya is well known for its highly organised network of coffee cooperatives. This system produces remarkable consistency in growing methods, milling, and auctioning across a web of about 150,000 growers, the majority of which are small-scale farmers. The topography of high-altitude plateaus in major Kenyan coffee regions combined with acidic soil provides excellent growing conditions for Arabica coffee.

Sourcing coffee from Ethiopia directly from the producer can be challenging for speciality coffee buyers, unfortunately this coffee was bought and sold through the Commodity Exchange and its traceability is limited, hopefully in the future we will be able to credit the producers for their hard work in producing such fantastic coffees….. and, we do love this coffee.
