This coffee displays a fine acidity with hints of lemon, honey and cocoa with nice body. The Burundian process their coffee with their own style: an extended fermentation process, a careful and thorough washing, a soak in fresh water, and slow drying on raised beds. With a heavy mouthfeel, flavours of lemon, delicate hints of spiced clove, and a sweet nutty finish, this light-roasted coffee is a real gem.
