A contemporary espresso delivering sweet dried fruit notes up front washed by caramel and chocolate on the finish.

V4.0 is a blend of Fazenda Sao Silvestre late harvest (50%), Finca Veracruz (25%) and Shari Cooperative (25%).

I use 17.5g in a 17g basket, a 30 second extraction, water temp at 91.4 deg C, resulting in a beverage of 34g and 30ml plus crema. There is creamy mouthfeel and body from the Sau Silvestre, sweetness and the fruit notes from the Veracruz and Shari Cooperative. All of these coffees are individually sweet and together provide a very sweet and rich espresso that starts off delivering fruit notes and finishes with chocolate and caramel.

For customers of the V3.0 note I have dropped the dose by .5g but also tightened up the grind slightly to meet the above parameters.

This coffee benefits from resting for 5-14 days after roasting when used in an espresso machine.
