Our four coffee taster pack represents what the team at Artisan Roast are enjoying themselves. Three coffees change regularly with the seasonality of coffee, and the fourth is one of our espresso blends to give you an insight into what we brew in our Artisan Roast cafes.

There is a diverse selection of coffees here and the chance to try out a selection of brewing techniques. Our recommendations are:
  • BRAZIL / IRMÃS PEREIRA is a high quality focused coffee farm that has won many awards in producer competitions over the last couple of decades. Their yelow bourbon natural processed lots are harvested at advanced stage of ripening when the cherries are pinky-yellow in colour and high in natural sugar content. Carefully controlled sorting and drying retains these sugars as the coffee dries and the result is a deliciously sweet accessible coffee. When brewed the coffee has flavours of candied roasted peanuts and milk chocolate leading onto more subtle flavours of rasins, amareno cherries and black grape
  • KENYA / KAMWANGI - is a special reserve Artisan Roast selection showcasing the very best of Kenya. The roast has been kept light to preserve the spectacular effervescent acidity and juicy melon like sweetness of the coffee. Bold raspberry and blackcurrant flavours follow and the juicy sweetness rolls across the palette on a very refined finish
  • San Augustin from Antigua in Guatemala is a fuller roasted single origin that has been proving very popular in our cafes. Flavours of dark chocolate, plum and a little clove work harmoniously with a dense creamy mouthfeel and dusted cocoa sweetness. Best brewed as a french press or as a luxurious single origin espresso
  • COBBLESTONE / BLEND - Our second house blend cobblestone is a fresh, juicy, and sweet espresso blend that has gained a firm following with Scottish cafes since it's launch in 2014. It's medium bodied and has a wide range of possible flavour profiles depending on the way it's brewed. At the roastery we love to focus on flavours of caramel, roasted almonds and red berry fruit when brewing as an espresso. As a filter the red berries and subtle high quality grape like acidity is more present
